Mothers & More, Cape Fear Chapter 219
About Our Chapter

WHO ARE WE?
Our members are talented, intelligent, resourceful women. Some are full time at-home mothers. Others are employed, whether part-time, full time or in home-based businesses.
We strive to be well-informed Mothers who offer support, fun and friendship to each other not only as Moms but as Women.

LOCALLY:
The Cape Fear Chapter has about 120 members. We represent many different occupations and interests. Our group hopes to meet the diverse needs of all Moms through activites and programs that form a SUPPORT NETWORK for SEQUENCING WOMEN. We focus on the mother as a woman and respect the right of all women to choose if and how they combine parenting and paid employment.

We offer you the chance to keep your skills current and/or aquire new ones by volunteering your time and talents to any of our areas.

Volunteering can meet personal fulfillment needs without the time and place demands of the paid-work environment.

BIMONTHLY MEETINGS:
*Topics range from women's issues, parenting, work/life issues.
*Meetings are often complemented by guest speakers and open discussions.
*Meetings are held without children so Moms can have a much needed night off!
*We do welcome Moms with young nursing infants up to age three months to bring their babies.
